Merino Wool listed as a TGO recommended product
The Great Outdoors magazines Judy Armstrong awarded Trekmates Merino Wool as a TGO recommended product in her July 2008 review of ladies base layers.
The open rib knit combined with a very lightweight fibre means it breathes well, dries quickly for a wool layer, feels soft and stretches beautifully. I stay cooler in this than most wool tops, due to the open knit and wide crew neck (which exposes racer-back bra straps). A continuous underarm panel plus a generous length help it stay in place under a rucksack. It doesn’t get smelly and the black colourway never shows sweat marks. What a bonus! Seams are flat-locked making this comfortable as a base layer. A favorite.
